Humboldt County Tax Tea Party

District Attorney Candidate Kathleen Bryson gave a riveting speech at the Tax Tea Party protest on April 15, 2010. As she stood in front of the protesters at the Humboldt County Court, Kathleen rallied the people of Humboldt to know that our current District Attorney's Office is wasting tax payers money by prosecuting non-violent misdemeanor offenses that could be easily resolved. This wastes jurors' and law enforcement's time. It also clogs the courts. Kathleen Bryson as pledged that when she is District Attorney she would not only utilize and manage her budget appropriately but, also put her money where her mouth is by pledging to give 20% of her pay back to Humboldt County, for programs that will help Humboldt County youth. There was strong applause and cheering that roared over the crowd and sounds of the nearby traffic.
